Concrete Sidewalks for Tri-Cities Properties

Sidewalks take daily foot traffic and need to stay level and crack-free through Northeast Tennessee's freeze-thaw cycles. A properly poured sidewalk starts with the right base, correct thickness, and control joints spaced to manage expansion.

K&H pours residential sidewalks connecting homes to driveways, streets, mailboxes, and backyard areas. We handle the grading, forming, pouring, and finishing — including proper slope for water drainage so you don't end up with puddles or ice patches.

Sidewalks are available in broom finish (standard for outdoor walkways) or slick finish for covered areas. Minimum project size is 300 square feet.

What's Included

  • Correct base preparation and compaction
  • Form setting and reinforcement as needed
  • Broom or slick finish
  • Control joints to prevent random cracking
  • Full cleanup and site restoration
  • One all-in price covering everything

Our Process

1

Estimate & Layout

We visit your property, discuss the sidewalk path and width, and provide a single all-in price.

2

Grading & Forming

The path is graded for drainage, base material is compacted, and forms are set.

3

Pour & Finish

Concrete is poured, leveled, and finished with your chosen texture. Joints are cut.

4

Cleanup

Forms removed, edges finished, property cleaned. We review curing care with you.

Finish Options

Broom finish is the standard choice for outdoor sidewalks — it provides traction in wet and icy conditions. Slick finish works for covered walkways or entries.
